One of Goa's most famous natural attractions, cascading dramatically through a lush forested landscape in the Western Ghats — especially spectacular during and after the monsoon. Access to the waterfall area may involve a local jeep transfer, forest access requirements or other regulated transportation, generally separate from the private car package.
The journey towards the Western Ghats, one of India's important biodiversity regions, takes you through lush forests, streams and countryside — away from Goa's beaches and into its greener, more adventurous side.
Discover how spices such as pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and other tropical plants are cultivated, and learn about traditional farming practices and Goa's agricultural heritage in the peaceful surroundings of a working plantation.
Depending on the selected plantation and package, enjoy a traditional Goan-style meal prepared with local ingredients and spices — a chance to experience authentic Goan flavours in a countryside setting.
Dudhsagar Waterfalls are located within a protected forest region, and access is subject to government, forest department and local operating regulations.
Private cars do not normally drive directly to the waterfall. Where required, guests may need to use authorised local transportation or jeep services from the designated access point.
Local jeep charges, forest fees and access permissions are subject to prevailing regulations and are payable separately unless specifically included in your selected package.
Waterfall access may also be restricted or modified due to heavy rainfall, water levels, forest regulations, safety conditions or government instructions.
The monsoon and post-monsoon months are generally the most spectacular time to see Dudhsagar in full flow, with the Western Ghats covered in lush greenery. Access can be affected by heavy rainfall and forest regulations, so check prevailing conditions before travelling — drier months offer different conditions and easier access, subject to local regulations.
No. Dudhsagar Waterfalls sit within a protected forest region, and private cars do not normally drive directly to the waterfall. Where required, guests use authorised local jeep transportation from the designated access point — this is included in the Shared Group Tour, and generally payable separately on the private car tour unless specifically included in your package.
The private car tour is a customisable full-day trip (up to 10–12 hours) in your own vehicle with a driver-cum-guide, priced per car from ₹5,500. The shared group tour is a fixed daily departure (6:00 AM–5:00 PM) from Kulem in a shared AC coach, priced at ₹1,800 per person, and includes the jeep safari, entry fees and a Goan buffet lunch.
A Goan buffet lunch is included in the Shared Group Tour price. On the private car tour, plantation meal charges are only included if specifically mentioned in your selected package.
The monsoon and post-monsoon months generally offer the most spectacular views, with the waterfall in full flow and the Western Ghats lush and green. Access can be affected by heavy rainfall, water levels and forest regulations, so it's worth checking prevailing conditions before travelling.
Entering the water is subject to local safety conditions, weather and forest regulations at the time of your visit. Life jackets are provided where required on the Shared Group Tour.
Cancellation terms differ by tour type — see the Private Car Tour or Shared Group Tour sections above for the specific policy that applies to your booking.
