We love Goa. And we want you to experience it differently.
Goa has a special way of making people fall in love with it. Maybe it is the beach where you watched your first sunset here, the quiet river that made you slow down, the village you stumbled upon, the meal you still talk about or the unexpected adventure that became your favourite memory.
For us, Goa is all of this and so much more. It is a place we are grateful to call home, and we are delighted to welcome you into the Goa we know, love and continue to discover every day.
This Is Goa was born from a simple idea — to help you discover and experience more of the Goa we know and love, and share the joy we find here with you.
We created This Is Goa because we have experienced the magic of this place ourselves. We have found quiet corners, met wonderful local people, shared unforgettable meals and discovered experiences that made us see Goa in a completely different way. We wanted to share that feeling with you.
There is so much to explore beyond the usual tourist spots, yet many travellers often miss out on the experiences that make Goa truly special. From cruising along its beautiful rivers and sailing on private yachts to exploring waterfalls, visiting spice plantations, discovering local culture and enjoying offbeat adventures, there is a whole different side of Goa waiting for you.
We wanted to bring all these experiences together in one place, making it easier for people to discover what Goa has to offer and plan a trip that feels truly your own.
More than just a travel platform
We don't want to be just another website where you book an activity and move on. We want to be your companion in exploring Goa — helping you find places to visit, things to do, experiences to enjoy and new memories that stay with you long after you leave.
Whether you are visiting Goa for the first time, returning for another holiday, travelling with family, planning a romantic getaway or simply looking for something different to do, we want to help you make the most of your time in Goa.
From popular attractions to lesser-known gems, from thrilling adventures to peaceful escapes, we want to bring the best of Goa closer to you. We will continue to curate more new experiences that Goa has to offer, so there is always something new for you to discover on your next visit.
Rooted in Goa. Connected directly to local owners.
We believe that the best experiences come directly from the people who call Goa home.
Every boat ride, village tour, adventure, local experience and hidden gem listed on This Is Goa comes directly from its local owner or operator. We work with the people who create and run these experiences, so you can connect with them directly — with no agents, no middlemen and no layers between you and the person bringing the experience to life.
Through This Is Goa, you can hear directly from local owners, discover their recommendations, ask questions, understand what makes each experience special and book with confidence. You experience Goa through the people who know it best, while supporting the local businesses that make Goa what it is.
At the same time, we want to give local experience providers and businesses a direct way to showcase what they do, build genuine connections with visitors and share the Goa they are proud to call home.
Because experiencing a place is not just about seeing it. It is about meeting its people, supporting local businesses and connecting with Goa in a way that feels more personal to you.
